Riga Motor Museum will be open on the Proclamation Day of the Republic of Latvia 18th of November. Visitors entry tickets will have 50% discount for all visitors. Special excursions about the "Imanta" armored car will be availavble at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00.
Visitors will have a great opportunity to visit the Museum for half price and take part in special excursions about the "Imanta"armored car. The museum will be open to visitors as usual from 10am to 6pm. In thise holidays we celebrates 100 years since Imanta's participation in the War of Independence, and visitors can take part in 3 guided tours (held in Latvian, for English tours please call in advance) to find out about Imanta's combats, rebuilding, function and owner change, and more. Free guided tours will be organized at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00.
Known as the "Iron Knight", the machine has undergone two periods of peace and two wars, has been damaged and rebuilt. Now, with the help of special technology, "Imanta" is sharing its historical adventures, inviting motor museum visitors to go back and experience armored car combat, rebuilding, change of hosts and function.
The armored car "Imanta" will be on display until December 10 at the exhibition "Legend of the Iron Knight".
